Genesis is very much a riders brand. It's less about fashion and the latest must have bits and more about good design that works. Well thought through bikes that are right for UK conditions and how we like to ride, designed by people who actually ride bikes.
And they make some very nice steel road bikes using Reynolds tubing, we like them even more. The Genesis 953 Race bikes will compliment our own 953 Bespoke frames, while the rest of the range give a modern twist and exciting update to an overlooked technology and will help new riders understand while steel is still so good.
Mountain bikers in the UK are an unusual breed, globally speaking. They enjoy mud quite a lot more than their European or American cousins for example and move from trails onto hard roads and back with unusual zeal.
That’s why we think it is important that Genesis give plenty of mud clearance on all their frames and also offer hub gears for the ultimate mud protection. And they apply the same rigour and passion to their road and cross bikes, making some of the most understated designs that have outstanding details to improve your ride experience.
Cut from the same cloth as the longstanding Croix de Fer, and using the same tried-and-tested frame and fork platform, the Borough is a robust workhorse of a bike designed to carry the rider and luggage from A to B in style, with speed, sophistication and comfort.
Genesis Day One
Simple, tough and quick the new V-brake model is our most accessible Day One yet. Reliable and durable urban workhorse transportation for every day of every week.
Genesis Latitude 10
After the success of the 2014 High Latitude LT we’ve added a new model (and shortened the name a bit) to allow more riders to enjoy it. The spec features a full new Shimano Alivio group, a 15mm bolt through air sprung Suntour Raidon XC-LO-R 120mm fork and the excellent Maxxis Ardent tyres to finish. About as complete a trail package as you can get at this level and our best value 27.5″ steel trail bike.
Genesis Zero Team
The Zero Team uses the exact same frame the Madison Genesis Team ride (right down to the sponsor logos on the stays) and delivers the pro-level performance the riders need to compete in tough stage races like the Tour of Britain. It’s not a replica, it?s not a team paintjob on a similar looking frame, or a downgraded carbon blend from the same mould, it is the same frame, the flagship. For competitive riders who demand authentic pro level performance.
